This is absolutely gorgeous — several steps closer to realism than the way she's depicted in the cartoon. This is how I think she would actually look if not caricatured.

Thank you so much, I did this for some family over in Australia - for their newborn baby girl, it's hanging in her nursery as I type :) A little bit of heartfelt family love from the UK all the way over in Aussieland which I think is quite sweet haha.

Ahhh so this is what your mother was talking about, and the teacher saying it wasn't very realistic. Well, this is just... beautiful! Absolutely gorgeous! I love the colours especially, and the background is wonderful! Fantastic work!!

and not visually appealling
